Today is CGS X-country day. By right i no need to go but by left me kena arrow to provide IT support for a group of students who are going to NIE for a rehearsal on the Classroom of the Future. Yep these were the kids who went to the GLF event and backpack.net seminar and yes they are nonetheless the princesses from 2C2!! :D They are a bunch of experienced, lively and cheerful kids. BUT once they talk they will talk non stop...-_- just like a humming bird..humming here and there..lol..=P
So there i was reaching MacRitchie Reservoir Park at 6.30 am JUST to help them safe keep their tablets in my car. <-- which is precisely the main reason why im going..:(
But hey as Adelene has mentioned in her blog..X-country is fun!..:D Yep instead of standing around doing nothing, i don on my PE singlet and i ran the x-country route today and man its 10 years ago since i ran the place..:P The air is very fresh and i managed to complete the route without any hicups..:) Managed to overtake bulk of the students there..lol.. Is it im too fit??..haha..;P no lah..its becos most of them are walking..^_^V
After the event we proceed to NIE. Tok about the NIE trip, i should say its really a **** up trip loh. Firstly NIE uses a totally different setup for their projector which make our life so difficult. We cant project out the screens. :( Originally the whole rehearsal should end by 2 pm but becos of technical problems of the projector the whole thing dragged on and on. The students are getting really restless as they are promised that they will be released by 2 pm and all of them had activities planned for the day. Got band practice, project meet up etc.
I actually quite pity the kids, cos they are supposed to be released early but instead becos of the hiccups, they cant do what they had planned earlier. I can understand how they feel. and because of this event they had to stay back with us instead of going home.
Well the issue is finally solved but its time for them to go back cos the bus cannot wait any longer and their parents are waiting for them in school. So we ended our rehearsal with much complaints and unhappiness. Sorry ah princesses its not what we want either. just dun complain anymore ok??..;)
The actual event is on 15 feb. Lets do it once and do it right ok?..;)
